It was a good second game for the Seashells, as the offense came alive with a 19 run outpouring, compliments of a big 6th inning. That big inning, which featured home runs by Lee Greenberg and Matt Stankiewicz, put a game far out of reach which had been too close for the talent differential.

The defense too held strong as (I believe) all the Closers’ runs were scored on walks. The weather was a little brisk but certainly not uncomfortable. This week may be a little different, as we’re staring into mid 50’s for the whole week. Oh well, at least we’ll be playing during the daytime.

Anyway, we had a great time at Paddy Mac’s after the game to celebrate Eve’s 27th birthday. Thanks to all who could make it out for the game and let’s go get em this week!
